Reward in missing Saint Bernard case reaches $1,500

A beloved Saint Bernard has been missing since Monday, and the owners say the reward money has again increased.

On Wednesday, Will and Jamie O'Shea shared photos on social media of their dog, Logan, who they say is 200 pounds. There initially was a $1,000 reward after a FOX 13 viewer to match their offer of $500. By Thursday morning, the reward reached $1,500.

The O'Sheas said they left their Treasure Island home on Monday afternoon for about 45 minutes. When they returned, Logan was not inside. They told FOX 13 they found one of the back doors was closed and unlocked.

They searched their Isle of Capri neighborhood for six hours, but couldn't find Logan. They filed a report with the Treasure Island Police Department, believing he was stolen.

The couple described Logan as a big sweetheart who is also a couch potato. If anyone sees him, they said he is friendly, so don't be afraid to approach him and to also contact Treasure Island police at (727) 547-4595.

"Saint Bernards are unique," Will said. "They can't be outside for too long. They can't walk very far because they weigh so much. We are just hoping social media will help get the word out. Hopefully, someone sees him and we can get him home."
