Brandon Jenner performs live on Good Day LA + backstage interview

Brandon Jenner stopped by Good Day LA to perform two songs, including one from his new solo EP.

Jenner hit the stage to sing "Death of Me," from his new EP released May 10, and one of his favorites from his 2016 EP, "Burning Ground."

He wrote and produced his latest EP "Plan On Feelings," which shows a more emotional side than fans have seen before. He digs deep in five soulful, earthy, melodic pop tracks.

Jenner starting writing songs while he was a college student in Boulder, Colorado around age 20. He shadowed and spent time in the studio with his stepfather and mentor, iconic music producer and songwriter David Foster, who has worked with artists like Chaka Khan, Babyface, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson and Madonna.

One of his greatest takeaways from Jenner was the importance of songwriting to showcase having something to say.

"Plan On Feelings" is an homage to dealing with life's ups and downs. "It's a way of saying feelings are a good thing. It's a super power you can use to create growth and opportunity in your life. Good inspires others. Bad inspires you to turn inward and learn something about yourself," Jenner said.
