Flor performs live on GDLA + backstage interview
LOS ANGELES - Flor performed live on Good Day LA as part of our Mercury Insurance concert series.
Flor also celebrates their sophomore album "Ley Lines" also released Friday.
The band performed "Slow Motion" and "Dancing Around."
Flor hails from Hood River, Oregon and consists of four members. Zach Grace as the lead vocalist who also plays guitar, bassist Dylan Bauld, guitarist McKinley Kitts, and drummer Kyle Hill.
The band changed their name upon relocating to Los Angeles. 'Flor' translates to flower in Portuguese.
Their songs explore feelings of longing and heartache, as well as anxiety and self-doubt. They amplify and brighten those emotions by taking an intensely cinematic approach to synth-driven alternative pop.
Friday's album release follows their debut LP "come out. you're hiding," that was released in May 2017.
Their North American tour, "Ones To Watch Presents, flor North American Tour" kicks off next week in Phoenix.
The band is scheduled to hit the stage in Los Angeles at The Regent Theater on October 11.
