Investigation underway after two adults, 8-month-old child found dead inside Rialto home

RIALTO, Calif. - An investigation is underway after three people were found dead inside a home in Rialto.

The Rialto Police Department responded to the 200 Block of East South Street on the morning of Thursday, June 4, after someone found the front door open and saw what appeared to be a deceased female on the couch.

When officers arrived on scene they located two adults and an infant dead in the living room.

Police have identified them as 36-year-old Nicholas Scott, 34-year-old Larissa Vissering and an 8-month-old child. 

Police say they found no evidence or signs of physical trauma. They say the bodies appeared to have been deceased for several days due to decomposition.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Travon Ricks of the Rialto Police Department at (909) 421-7227.
